We understand that untreated ear wax build-up can significantly impact communication, confidence and quality of life. For many residents, hearing difficulties can lead to isolation, frustration and reduced engagement with loved ones and care staff. Our mission is simple — to restore clarity, comfort and connection.
Our Story
After working within the care sector for several years, our founder recognised that ear and hearing health was often overlooked as part of routine care.
After completing advanced clinical training with TympaHealth, what began as a service delivered independently to individual care homes quickly demonstrated measurable impact.
Residents became more engaged. Communication improved. Families noticed the difference.
Through hands-on experience, it became clear that hearing loss related to ear wax build-up was far more common than anticipated. The majority of the residents in the care homes experience problematic ear wax accumulation at some stage.
What began as a service to individual homes evolved into a broader mission: to create a structured, proactive approach to hearing care across entire care home groups, ensuring more residents can benefit from timely, professional service.
Clear Sound Solutions was built to change the way hearing health is prioritised in care settings - not as an afterthought, but as an essential component of quality care.
Our Approach & Clinical Standards
Clear Sound Solutions proudly collaborates with TympaHealth, using their industry-leading equipment and accredited clinical training to deliver safe, technology-led ear care services.
By bringing professional ear care directly into care homes, we eliminate the need for stressful external appointments and provide treatment in a calm, familiar environment.
At Clear Sound Solution, we believe high-quality ear and hearing care should be embedded within a structured, preventative framework - not delivered reactively. This contributes positively towards quality standards aligned with expectations of the Care Quality Commission.
Regulation & Quality Assurance
Clear Sound Solutions takes regulations and quality assurance seriously - it is part of our promise to deliver the highest standard of care to every resident we support. To that end, we have chosen to voluntarily register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This process is currently in progress - we very much look forward to providing an update on it shortly!
CQC registration provides assurance that our services meet nationally recognised standards of safety, effectiveness, governance and accountability. Our commitment to regulation means that care home partners can feel confident working with us.
